Employees of the government run Ingushavtotrans transport company have been on strike since 28 March over delayed wages. Being paid on time is the only demand of the striking workers. They claim that the last time they received their salaries was in October 2016.

The chairman of the Chechen Parliament, Magomed Daudov, has ordered the creation of a commission to resolve land use issues. The commission will be headed by the chairman of the parliamentary committee on agro-industrial complex, land use, ecology, and natural resources, Mukhmad Askhabov and will deal with violations in these areas.

A huge brawl broke out between residents of a village in western Chechnya’s Achkhoy-Martan District, and local police on 26 March. Three young people from the village of Davydenko were detained for ‘disobeying police’. A dispute over land registration on one of the village’s streets was the reason for the skirmish.
