Chergoleishvili calls 4 October a ‘banal farce’

Tamar Chergoleishvili, one of the leaders of the Federalists party and a founder of the Tabula magazine, posted on Facebook:

‘4 October — National day of banal farce’.

Chergoleishvili, who is a fierce critic of the government and one of those who boycotted the municipal vote, was a vocal sceptic of today’s action, repeatedly stating that it was not a wise strategy to tie people’s expectations to a specific date.
