A Fire broke out at Eliava market in Tbilisi on 2 July. No one was seriously injured in the Sunday evening fire, but four people were taken to hospital with light injuries, including one firefighter. [Read more…]
On 6 June, the Yerevan City Hall informed the vendors of the clothing market on Ferdowsi Street that construction work would begin there on 15 June. The vendors were asked to move their improvised pavilions to other spots. They remain dissatisfied with the decision and have asked for six months to relocate. The negotiations have so far been fruitless.
Toys on sale in shops and in the streets in Georgia contain substances toxic to children’s health. Many sellers do not know where the toys come from, and the authorities have so far failed to regulate them. [Read more…]
