The Investigative Committee of Russia has reportedly completed its investigation into the 2011 murder of Khadzhimurad Kamalov — the founder of independent Daghestani newspaper Chernovik. An editor and journalist from Chernovik, an independent newspaper in the Russian republic of Daghestan, has been arrested on suspicion of financing terrorism and participating in a terrorist organisation.
