The detained Azerbaijani journalist has been on hunger strike for over 140 days in protest against his pending extradition to Azerbaijan.
Afgan Sadigov, who is currently awaiting extradition to Azerbaijan, has been on hunger strike for more than 130 days.
Sadigov has been on a hunger strike for around 120 days in his own form of protest.
The Tbilisi City Court ruled on Thursday to approve the extradition of Afgan Sadigov, an Azerbaijani journalist who has been in custody in Gldani prison in Tbilisi since 4 August.
