Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has blocked the accounts of Fortanga, the largest Ingush news site, allegedly for trademark infringement. Ingush activist and journalist Rashid Maysigov has been sentenced to three years in a penal colony for ‘drug possession’.
