Leading members of Georgia’s Republican Party have accused Georgian Dream founder Bidzina Ivanishvili of apologising to Vladimir Putin over their criticism of Russia’s annexation of Crimea. Two politicians from Georgia’s Republican Party have said they were attacked in the streets of Tbilisi on political grounds. Khatuna Samnidze, an MP and party chair, and party member Davit Bedzenishvili said that they were attacked in the city centre on Monday.
