US Representative: sanctioning Ivanishvili necessary to push back against Putin’s influence
US Representative Steve Cohen, a ranking member of the Helsinki Commission, has called the sanction of Georgian Dream founder and honorary chair Bidzina Ivanishvili ‘a strong and necessary step’ by the US President to ‘push back against Putin’s influence and defend Georgia’s democracy’.
