According to Batumelebi, hundreds of demonstrators, including students and lecturers, are marching in Batumi to protest against the government’s EU U-turn.

The protesters walked through the city, holding placards that read ‘Solidarity with our peers’, ‘I want a safe environment’, and ‘I want quality education’. Later they stopped at the city’s theatre, giving speeches.
