
Pashinyan signals Armenia may try taking back control of railways from Russia

On Wednesday morning, ahead of the awards ceremony, Pashinyan and Aliyev had a one-on-one meeting in Abu Dhabi.

In the announcement, US President Donald Trump also said that US-made defence equipment would be sold to Azerbaijan.

Also attending the meeting were Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The TRIPP Development Company will ensure the development and implementation of the TRIPP infrastructure.

In 2008, a 30-year concession agreement was signed, on transfer of the Armenian railway system to a Russian company.

Iranian officials have previously made contradictory statements on their stance on the Trump Route.
