Earlier, Sergei Kopyrkin, Russia’s Ambassador to Armenia said that no other country gave Armenia ‘any security guarantee that would be comparable’ to what Russia offers.
The comment was made during the fourth EU–Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee meeting held in Yerevan.
The bill was greenlit by the Armenian government in January.
The EU Mission in Armenia has been the subject of both Azerbaijani and Russian criticism since its deployment in early 2023.
