On the night of 16–17 March, the Federal Security Service (FSB) building in Ingushetia’s Malgobek District came under fire from a rocket propelled grenade. The corner of the building was hit, damaging the exterior. No-one was injured in the incident.
According to preliminary investigations, there were between two and four perpetrators, who fled the scene of the crime. The empty tube of a RshG-2 launcher — commonly known as a Mukha — was found at the scene. It has been sent for examination to recover fingerprints and other clues that could lead to the perpetrators.
‘We’re conducting work aimed at identifying and detaining the perpetrators who shot at the FSB building. We’re currently analysing what happened, and soon will adopt concrete measures’, Ingushetia’s police told OC Media.
