Despite the wind and rain, pro-European demonstrators are gathering in the coastal city of Batumi in western Georgia for the 21st day of protests, according to local publication Batumelebi.

Batumi has seen regular protests since the ruling party announced the suspension of Georgia’s EU membership bid.

‘We should continue like this, because if we stop now, it will be equivalent to defeat’, one protesters said.
