Voter turnout remains high as of 17:00
The CEC has reported that out of 2.5 million eligible voters, 1.2 million have cast their ballots as of 17:00, at 49%.
This number is 10 percentage points higher than in the snap elections of 2021, which saw 38% of all eligible voters casting their votes by 17:00.
