CEC: Voter turnout nearly over 33% by 14:00
The Central Election Commission (CEC) has reported that out of 2.5 million eligible voters, 847,226 had cast their ballot as of 14:00, or 33.84%.
The number is nearly 8% higher than in the snap parliamentary elections in 2021, which saw 26.82% of eligible voters participate by 14:00, with an even bigger gap compared to the 2018 snap elections, which recorded 24.53%.
