CEC: Voter turnout nearly 15% by 11:00
The Central Election Commission (CEC) has reported that out of 2.5 million eligible voters, 362,657 had cast their ballot as of 11:00, or 14.48%.
The number is slightly higher than in the snap parliamentary elections in 2021, which saw 12.2% of eligible voters participate by 11:00, and almost twice as high as the 7.7% recorded in the 2018 snap elections.
