The Public Defender’s Office has stated that 227 Georgian citizens placed in temporary detention centres after attending protest rallies from 28 November to 16 December were treated inappropriately.

According to the Public Defender, 158 people had visible injuries out of a total of 362 citizens visited between the above dates.
