Armenian Ministry of Defence Spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan reports that ‘heavy battles’ are taking place near the city of Martuni (Khojavand).

Armenia: Stepanakert fired upon
The Nagorno-Karabakh State emergency service reports that Stepanakert (Khankandi) is being fired upon by Grad and Smerch rockets. There is no information at the moment about any deaths or injuries among civilians.

Azerbaijan: Civilian killed in shelling of Barda
The General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan reports that one civilian has been killed due to shelling in Barda.

Aliyev announces that Azerbaijani army has taken new villages
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has announced that Azerbaijani forces have taken control of a series of villages, including six villages near Fuzuli (Varanda), two villages near Jabrayil (Jrakan), three villages near Gubadli (Kashunik), one village near Zangilan (Kovsakan), two villages near Khojali (Ivanyan), and two villages near Martuni (Khojavand).

Fighting reported overnight
Armenian authorities report fighting all along the frontline overnight, with the heaviest fighting near Shusha (Shushi). The city was also reportedly shelled.
Azerbaijani authorities also report fighting overnight, stating that the heaviest fighting took place near Martakert (Aghdara), Martuni (Khojavend), and Aghdam (Akna).
